Visit to the Jurong Bird Park
Today we went to the Jurong Bird Park to complete something. Well,obviously. .___." Anyway,i had a blast there even though some places were really stinky which attracts mosquitoes and it bit at the lower part of my leg. Lucky for me,i only got a few but it recovered real quickly. For this entry,im going to type what excactly happened today.
It all started when we were all at the hall,assembling there for usual silent reading. After a few minutes,we had to stand and the flag raising commenced. We said the pledge and sung the nation athem. Afterwards,we streamed down to the canteen to wait for the buses to come and 'fetch' us. After waiting for a few minutes,the bus still hasn't arrived. Our teachers were at a corner discussing about some stuff regarding the trip and the project,so we sit still and started chit-chatting while waiting. Soon,my teacher approached to us and told us that the bus wouldn't be coming so early so we should head to the classroom so that she can brief us about the trip. The briefing maybe took a few minutes and we jotted down things that we were suppose to bring the next day for school. I estimated that maybe the briefing was about 30 minutes and the bus would arrived at 8:30AM and i was correct. We set off at 8:30AM,sitting in our groups. The moment one foot step into the bus,the whole bus started to crack up some noise. Malay students at the back started chit-chatting and teasing each other while the chinese pupils at the front were just having fun playing with each other.
After what it seems like eternity,we finally reached the place. At first,i didn't believe that we were there since it looked quite different. The first visit we took was the Macaw. We jotted down plenty of notes and also got working on the booklet that we were suppose to finish by the end of the day. We walked and run around the whole place,making sure that we at the same time have fun and also learn something new. I have to say that my favourite place of the 'Word of Darkness',it might stink a little but its really dark which makes the whole place real cool. It was hard to jot down notes and complete the activites but i had a whale of a time viewing the owls and other noctural birds in their habitat. When we were in the place,it all seemed like a maze.
And it looked like we all were the mouse and the cat was chasing us and the only way to escape was to find the exit. It took us a while to find the exit but we really had fun. The moment we saw a ray of sunlight,we raced towards the exit and 'finally' we were outside of the world of darkness. We scribbled some answers down in our booklets before heading to the next question and place.
Altogether,i think there are more than 5 questions meaning more than 10 pages which means its hard to complete within a day but no worries. I thik that our science teacher would find our dam lame excuses pretty reasonable. I was appointed to collect the booklets at the end of the day and place it at my science's teacher table.
Well,i knew that it wasn't a difficult task and i bet even someone can do it even with their eyes close. Admist all the wonderful things that happened,one bad thing happened. I FORGOT TO BRING MY S.S ACT. BK THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO HAND IN TODAY. I started panicking,which was not my usual self and started going around to question my classmates if they brought it. Suprisingly,half of the class didn't bring so im at least glad. I guess,i better hand it in tomorrow or maybe place it at my S.S teacher's table.
Haha. -sighs- Anyway,i think there is nothing more to say about the trip besides saying that the bird show was amazing and i managed to sit the same row as him ! =D Guess,i better stop here for now. Bye and god bless.
